The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group has orchestrated a bomb attack on a police compound in the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir, in which three people were killed.
In this few years, PKK have made several attacks all over the territory of Turkey, all of them brutal and with big number of fatalities.
A statement on a PKK website said its militants had planted more than 2.5 tons of explosives after tunneling under the compound in Tuesday’s attack, days before a referendum on expanding President Tayip Erdogan’s powers.
PKK is designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the US.
